O3zone - The Name

The name is inspired from a background in chemistry and an interest in science and the environment.  The name uses the chemical formula O3 and the chemical name Ozone.  Ozone is found in the environment and forms the protective layer around the earth.  The "O" in the name also represents the beads and rings often used within the designs and "zone" is an area where the designs are found.

O3zone Jewellery - The Beginning

The jewellery collections are based on science and environmental elements.  The initial collection is called the Rainbow Collection.  The collection represents the start of the company; starting with hematite a black stone with a silver lustre which is then followed by the spectrum of colours (Red, Orange, Yellow, Green, Blue, Indigo, Violet) to beautiful pearls and white stones to represent the full white light which is made up from the range of colours.

The Rainbow collection jewellery is made using combinations of semi-precious stone beads, freshwater pearls, wooden beads and other natural materials.  Additionally the indigo range includes blue goldstone which is made from glass and copper.

The jewellery also includes sterling silver or gold filled components and fittings.

Future collections will include other materials such as Swarovski crystal beads and Murano glass beads in the designs. 

In addition to the collections bespoke pieces can be created for that special occasion and one-off designs are also available.
